Tetra Pond Wheatgerm Sticks have been specially designed as a staple food for cold weather feeding. Tetra Pond Wheatgerm should be fed when the temperature reaches below 10°c in the autumn, in the run up to hibernation, and again as the weather begins to warm in spring. Once temperatures are above 10°c then you should return to your normal feeding regime.
Tetra Pond Wheatgerm contains a large percentage of high-quality wheatgerm which is rich in fiber and easily digestable, this makes it the ideal food for the slowing metabolism of the fish in the colder months and eases them back into feeding in the spring.
Feed Tetra Pond Wheatgerm Sticks 1-2 times a day, only as much as the fish can eat within a few minutes. Do not feed your fish if they are inactive, and remove any uneaten food. You should switch to Tetra Pond Wheatgerm Sticks once the temperature falls below 10°c in the autumn and return to your normal Tetra Pond food once the temperature warms again in the spring.
